Lecture on U.S. political and electoral system
The ELGS is thrilled to announce that Prof. Nikolaos Zahariadis, with an introduction by Dr. Alexandros Kyriakidis, will deliver an insightful lecture on the U.S. political and electoral system. Join us on Monday, November 25, from 18:00 to 19:30 (Athens Time)
After briefly introducing the U.S. political/electoral system, Prof. Zahariadis will analyze the results of the November 2024 presidential election. He will then elaborate on the possible consequences for three issues of global importance: the American “tilt” toward the Pacific, the situation in Ukraine, and the Middle East.
Professor Nikolaos Zahariadis is the Mertie Buckman Chair and Professor of International Studies at Rhodes College, USA. A native of Thessaloniki, Greece, he has published widely on issues of international affairs and European public policy.
